Hansel is our unofficial baby rhino-walrus-bear-pig of the haus. We will never forget his birth since it took over an hour to push just him out! And now we know why!
He was always considerably larger than the rest of the puppies, initially due to his genetics and later his milk hogging. But with a big body comes a big heart. Although he may not be as graceful as his sister, Bernie, he loves in his own big way with wet sloppy kisses and that famous, heavy Berner lean. The only things he may love as much as his family are his bull horns, rawhide bones, plastic containers, and dipping his feet in the pool.
Fun fact: Hansel has quite the vocal range! He can go from sounding like a tiny Pomeranian to a massive, scary (but doesn’t mean it) Cujo bark. Even in his early puppy days, Hansel was always making funny noises! This is Hansel a cooing at a few weeks old. <3
As if he wasn’t enough of a beast, Hansel has an extra dewclaw on each foot and webbed paws.. perfect for swimming!
